Starting at 10:30 a.m. coffee, tea, and snacks are available to start your morning out right!
If you’d like to enjoy a drink during the service, beverages with lids are welcome in the sanctuary.
Upon entering the sanctuary, greeters will provide you with a bulletin containing that Sunday’s scripture verses and announcements.

We have two large media screens to help guide you through the service.
Our worship team provides music at the beginning, in the middle, and at the end of service. We also take time for a Sunday message, prayer (both internally and out loud), passing of the peace, communion, and declarations of our faith.
During passing of the peace, we shake hands with each other and say, “Peace be with you.” If for any reason you don’t feel comfortable shaking hands, we understand and will smile and/or wave instead.
Communion is when we consume bread and wine in remembrance of Jesus’ death on the cross, which He did to cleanse us from our sins. At this time, we go up to the railing around the altar and either stand or kneel. After the bread and the wine has been provided, and we’ve taken a moment to pray, we return to our seats. If you would prefer gluten free bread or juice, those options are available.
For a sampling of our Sunday messages, check out this site’s Messages page.
After service, if you would like someone to pray with you for any reason, an elder is available for one-on-prayer.
In the lobby, drinks and snacks are still available. Our members like to use this time for fellowship, and, if you would like, we would love to get to know you better.
Friendship and community are very important at Spirit of Joy. One thing that we believe people can’t have enough of are friends!
