Media Library

Welcome to the Spirit of Joy media library! Here, we have both Christian books and movies available for all ages and in a wide range of genres. So how does it work? We’ll show you! Just follow these four simple steps:

Step 1: Explore

Our media is organized into five different categories:

Look around on these pages to find the media you are interested in. If the media is available, there will be a green “AVAILABLE” below the image. If it has been checked out already, it will have a red “CHECKED OUT” below the image.

Step 2: Checkout

When you know what you want, visit our Checkout page (there will be a link to it at the top of each media page). There, you will find a submission form to fill out.

Due to the limited size of the library, we ask that each person checkout only two items at a time. For families, each family member may checkout two items. For instance, a family of three may have six items (in total) out at a time.

Within 24 hours of checkout, a confirmation email should be sent to the email provided. There is a time gap between when items are checked out and when they are marked “Checked Out.” Therefore, if for some reason an item becomes unavailable before you request it, we will inform you of that in the confirmation email you receive.

Step 3: Receive

Items you request will be available for pickup at the church the following Sunday between 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. You will find them at the information table in the lobby. They will be in a bag with your name on it.

If you electronically check out an item on a Sunday, the items will be available the following Sunday. This allows us time to efficiently process all the incoming requests.

However, items can be checked out immediately, in person the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month right after service.

Step 4: Return

At the information table, there will be a box where you can drop off your experienced media. Once your items are returned, you will be automatically eligible to check out another two items from our library.

Joy Book Club

If you’re a Kindergarden-8th Grade Student, then we are inviting you to join Joy Book Club, a reading program where you can earn a custom-made pin for every book you read. In addition, you will also be invited to join us for fun book-related events held throughout the year. After all, it’s great to read books alone, but it’s even better with friends!
